Please take note that when you reach Jozini, the GPS will try to take you on a different route. Make sure you go over the dam wall!!!!
Directions From N2 (Richardsbay):
Take Hluhluwe exit, go through the town and turn left at the roundabout signposted Sodwana. + – 3 km turn right over the railway line signposted Sodwana and Mbazwana. R22 At Mbazwana follow signs to Kwangwanase R22. At Kwangwanase (Mangusi) continue through town on the way towards the border, passing Total garage on left. + – 4,5 km on bend in the road there is a Thobeka signboard with blue writing on white indicating a right hand turn on sand track. You will drive 1.5 km on the sand track, which is easy accessible with a normal city car. Thobeka is at the end of the sand road. Just follow the small signboards next to the road if you are unsure.
From Swaziland (Pongola):
Turn left on N2 and take Jozini exit on left hand side. Go through Jozini and on leaving Jozini keep a sharp look out for left hand turn signposted Kosi Bay. Proceed over the Dam wall and continue until you reach a T-junction. Turn right signposted Tembe Elephant reserve and Kwangwanase. Continue to Kwangwanase (Mangusi) Pass through the town, passing Total garage on left. + – 4.5 km on a bend in the road there is a Thobeka signboard with blue writing on white indicating a right hand turn on to a sandy track. From Johannesburg:
Take the N17 towards Ermelo. At Ermelo take the N2 towards Piet Retief. Drive through Piet Retief towards Pongola. 53 km out of Ponogla take Jozini exit on left hand side. Go through Jozini and on leaving Jozini keep a sharp look out for left hand turn signposted Kwangwanase. Proceed over the Dam wall and continue until you reach a T-junction.
